I am a senior graduating May 2017 and I would just like to send a thank you to you and your amazing staff at CEN. I transferred from Wake Tech Community College during Fall 2015. I transferred to UNCW because I love the opportunity that CEN offered. I got paired with Liz Roesel after the CEN mixer last semester. We immediately connected and are constantly in communication with each other.

We have attended a number of events together including Port City Young Professional mixers and just recently attended the High Five Conference in Raleigh. High Five Conference is where creative and marketing meet. This was hosted by the American Marketing Association of the Triangle. Without a doubt, this was so beneficial to me as a student getting ready to enter the "real world." I was able to network with many marketers around the country. One of the many great marketers we met while at the conference was the Chief Marketing Strategist of Facebook!

Additionally, I was able to see marketing at work outside of the walls of the university. I love marketing and this has only solidified my love for major even more.

I am so grateful that Liz invited me to this event and was right by my side experiencing it with me. Above is a picture of us at the conference showing our UNCW pride.

I cannot have asked for a better mentor than Liz. I may be graduating in May, but our mentorship will keep growing as I move into my career as a marketer.
